Aboyade-Media Parley: The Birth of A New Alimosho

In the early hours of today, the newly elected Lagos State APC Vice-Chairman for Lagos West, Chief Tunde Sunday Aboyade summoned media personnel and Chief Press Secretaries to the sitting council chairmen across Alimosho Federal Constituency to a media parley. At the meeting which was attended by important personalities in Alimosho, several issues were addressed. The main objective of the meeting was for reconciliation among the warring factions in Alimosho.
The meeting began with an appreciation from Aboyade to all attendees for honouring the invitation for the special meeting despite its short notice. According to him, the interactive meeting was organised to appeal to the media men to sheathe their swords as his primary assignment from the state party if to reconcile Alimosho address.

Questions, suggestions and feedback were entertained from attendees after the address by the Lagos West Vice-Chairman. Without mincing words, Aboyade clarified that he was determined to reinstate peace in Alimosho by bringing all aggrieved factions together. He emphasized that this unity was necessary to enable the party gather electorate for Asiwaju's presidential ambition come 2023.

In view of the above, Aboyade strongly appealed to his audience to suspend the media war and give him some time to achieve his state assignment. He also used the opportunity to tell his listeners that though he had an ambition for the House of Representatives but that ambition has been shelved with his new opportunity.

He assured his audience that Alimosho would be better and that every group would be adequately recognised and duly represented whenever and wherever required.
It was unanimously agreed by those present that Aboyade's emergence was not only timely but would also mend all broken walls and heal wounds. It was described as the Birth of a New Dawn in Alimosho
