Enilolobo; Captain Of A Sinking Ship
Enilolobo: Captain Of A Sinking Ship
The attention of Alimosho Liberation Movement has been drawn to a nefarious publication from Alhaji Abdullahi Oluwole Enilolobo, a confessed liar, a rancourous element, a bitter and resentful noisemaker, comparing himself with the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly. This time, their infantile and unwarranted attacks were targeted at the persons of the Speaker, Lagos House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, a lawyer, a foremost lawmaker, former Chairman of the Conference of Speakers in Nigeria among other enviable titles, for his lovers but intimidating to his foes, and Alhaji Abiodun Isola Ejigbadero, a scion of Ejigbadero dynasty, a realtor, a property Magnate and a loyal party man. Their latest swipe again, demonstrated an acute obsession with the propagation of falsehood, lies and alternative facts to get public attention and sympathy for Enilolobo's political doom. This political terrorist thinks he is somebody when he consistently compares himself to the speaker of the Lagos State Assembly in terms of political strength. Is it not an irony to compare Enilolobo,an opportunist that has never contested any election in his entire life with a man that started his political journey from the grassroots as a Ward Councillor and gradually rose to the position of a Speaker of the most prosperous state in Nigeria? We challenge Enilolobo to declare his source of income and means of livelihood, that support the large luxurious lifestyle he is living. We are students of history, as far as Alimosho politics is concerned and we know who is who and those claiming to be what they are not. Before the coming of the 4th republic, Enilolobo was a nobody in Alimosho. His mother lived in a rented one-room apartment at Idowu-Egba along Igando Road while Enilolobo was a practising vulcanizer. With his mother, he lived from hand to mouth, until Kehinde Joseph introduced him to politics. It may be worthy of mention to say that, after gaining recognition at the grassroots, Enilolobo betrayed Hon. Kehinde Joseph, the path he trod to politics.
For the records, between 1998 and 1999, when this political era began, Abdullahi Oluwole Enilolobo was a political errand boy to Aregbesola. He became Aregbesola's tool of dissension in the political arena of Alimosho. How and when did Enilolobo rally the youth for Asiwaju, when in actual truth, the youth leader of Alimosho then was Hon. Kehinde Joseph who brought Enilolobo to his political limelight before Aregbesola saw the burning characteristics and zeal of a traitor in him.
It is also on record that every actor of BATCO was adequately rewarded after Asiwaju emerged as Lagos Governor. If Enilolobo was truly as popular, resourceful and effective as his foot soldiers portray, it should remain a cause for concern how and why he is still battling with the party leadership at the grassroots when his colleagues have all moved to the top. How comes Enilolobo ended up being an Office Assistant to Hon. Olufemi Adebanjo( Eyes Open), the then House of Assembly member, Alimosho Constituency 01 while Kehinde Joseph, the Alimosho party Youth Leader became a legislative aide to the same Adebanjo?
Ask the likes of Hon. Bisi Yusuf, Hon. Olufemi Adebanjo, Hon. Waheed Adebayo, Hon. Adelabu Onibiyo and many others and they would tell you the kind of being Enilolobo is (if only they would share their plights). To Enilolobo, it is a mere game and normal politics that he betrayed the above persons to ascend to the unconstitutional post of an Apex Leader.
He does not consider it abnormal, yet he has the guts to call others names. By his style of leadership, all his former bosses and leaders have suddenly become his subjects and errand boys.

Enilolobo's war with Ejigbadero began when the latter bluntly refused to take an oath of allegiance under Enilolobo. Sometime back, Enilolobo disclosed his fear that Ejigbadero might throw his support for Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa whom he suspected was nursing a Senatorial ambition, even when Obasa had not made a pronouncement related to that assertion. He invited Ejigbadero and disclosed his fears, though he declared that he had no candidate and would await the party's chosen candidate but out of desperation, Enilolobo tried to lure him into oath taking - a request he blatantly turned down.
That was the genesis of the name-calling, assaults and physical attacks. While we would not want to delve into his private life, but has anyone ever wondered why Enilolobo's wives never stay in the marriage? They always break off and run for their dear lives after they discovered that several politicians come for oath-taking and a part of the house had become a shrine, solely reserved for rituals and diabolical practices. For instance, before the 2017 local government election, nomination forms were obtained in Enilolobo's house instead of the party-state secretariat after which all candidates were made to swear an oath.

Oftentimes, Enilolobo and his online soldiers describe Alhaji Abiodun Ejigbadero as a land grabber. It is not only amusing but also pathetic that at this age and time of advanced civilization and availability of free knowledge, they still cannot differentiate between a land grabber and a realtor. Ejigbadero has a registered conveyance document from the Lagos State Land Registry proving his rights and ownership of areas he lays claims. By this document, the property Magnate does employ the use of force in settling land cases as he is a strong believer in the laws of the state. For confirmation, for those who might know what it means and those who care to know, he has a registered Conveyance Dated as far back as December 18, 1974, registered as No. 53 on Page 53 in Volume 1478 of the Lagos State Land Registry. In other words, his claims are not only backed by the state but also by law.
As for their assertion that Ejigbadero is a thug, it is no doubt, a general misconception that everyone that deals on land are always violent and irresponsible but this is grossly misleading and delusional. Everyone who has had the privilege of meeting Ejigbadero had confessed that they had a negative impression before meeting him and were surprised to see a complete gentleman and responsible businessman to the core. This was openly confirmed by HE, Adejoke Orelope Adefulire on their first meeting.
However, build-up to the 2015 general elections, Enilolobo will recall that he absconded from Alimosho to an apartment in Magodo that was rented by Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola for 2 weeks. He did this for fear of his life, after wreaking havoc in Alimosho. He had swindled some aspirants and he knew his life was no longer safe, hence his reason for fleeing Alimosho. While away, he kept calling the same person he calls a thug today to ascertain the situation of things and to know whether it was so safe for him to return.
While Enilolobo has been all about himself, he would not deny being a beneficiary of Ejigbadero's generosity, as he had received financial aids, both for himself and the party. Who has Enilolobo helped without returns?
Also, contrary to the fears and the hogwash being peddled by Enilolobo and his group that Ejigbadero would unleash terror on them on the commencement of this struggle, Ejigbadero proved them wrong by engaging them intellectually - he simply made it a media confrontation while they were busy employing mercenaries and hoodlums.
Like we have always advised, Enilolobo has too many problems in his basket he should attend to and should desist from pointing accusing fingers and thereby increasing his number of enemies. He may be harbouring blabbermouths in his camp who are working very hard to bring him down. Anyways, he did same to his former leaders whom he has reduced to errand boys.
