Alimosho Council Chairmen, Leaders Plan Voters' Intimidation, Change of Election Venue Without Notice

The desperate desire to remain in power has, no doubt, led many to an undesired death. It is more pathetic knowing that while some innocent lives are lost, some evil minds take over control of authority. The politics in Alimosho Federal Constituency is a clear picture of the power intoxication and drunkenness among political office holders.

As the Lagos APC local government council election draws near, the political gladiators continue to scheme harder on ways to get hold of power. In Alimosho, the story is no different as the oppressive group is doing everything to remain in total control of the entire constituency, comprising of a Local Government Area with 5 Local Council Development Areas.

It has been reliably gathered that the council Chairman of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, Engineer David Famuyiwa, Hon. Jelili Sulaiman of Alimosho LG Council and Hon. Princess Olabisi Adebajo have not just hired armed thugs this time around but also members of some deadly occultic groups known as Aye and Eiye confraternity groups.

The mission for engaging these deadly cultists is clear and simple - voters perceived not to be in their employers' camps should be intimated and scared off the voting center and where and when necessary, be shot when they resist threats. The idea is to remove all possible hindrances and obstacles that could be a distraction during their planned rigging exercise. These hired cultists have been well equipped with arms to facilitate the given assignment.

It was also gathered that Jelili and his fellow plotters have mapped out a strategy where they would change an earlier announced venue for the voting without prior notice. At the new venue, only their loyalists are expected to know about the arrangement, hence, others would be disenfranchised and denied the right to vote.

At the reception ceremony held right inside Alimosho Local Government Council earlier today to welcome back Jelili, who had been on suspension for two weeks. it was publicly said that Enilolobo's camp had the power, funds and every tool necessary to enhance their victory at the polls. The speaker said they had the Senator, Honourable of the HoR, State lawmakers, Council Chairmen, Councillors, party Chairmen and others in their camp. He went further to boast that they had the funds and would buy over all voters for the election.

Prior to the reception ceremony, a notice had been sent across Alimosho that party Chairmen should provide 20 members from each LCDA with a promise that they would be paid. However, after the event, no form of appreciation was given to the attendants and when they demanded, they were told, they were working for the party. What a cruel deceit! Why promise them what could not be afforded before during the invitation?

The lustful desire for power coupled with the intense desperation makes the coming election a real threat to Alimosho and its residents. We are calling on relevant security operatives to be at alert to enable them minimize, if not outrightly curb the planned attack on unsuspecting innocent voters
