 Analyzing Enilolobo's Ill-Fated Constituency Meeting

The scanty attendance at Abdullahi Enilolobo's ill-fated constituency meeting held on Saturday, March 27, 2021, is a confirmation that emancipation has come to stay in Alimosho, and also that Enilolobo has eventually become a ‘General without a troop' - he has woefully failed in his unconstitutional and illegal Apex leadership.

The situation was so pathetic that a discomfited Enilolobo could not articulate any message to support his mission for the rally, but rather, exhausted his 30 minutes address in raining insults and name-calling on the person of the Speaker of the Lagos House of Assembly. Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa. In his careless utterances, Enilolobo accused the Speaker of being a thief, simply because of an undeclared Senatorial ambition of the Speaker. Enilolobo has never contested any elective position, perhaps because he is not qualified for any. It remains a cause for concern why he is ready to die over a post he is not qualified for. The only logical explanation is the unchecked siphoning of funds he enjoys through his ally, Senator Solomon Adeola Olamilekan Yayi and those unfortunate Alimosho Local Government and its 5 LCDA Executives.
Little wonder, questions are coming up on Enilolobo's actual source of income. A jobless Enilolobo

owns houses across Lagos with millions of naira and other foreign currencies stashed in different bank accounts. Yet, such a disreputable fellow points accusing fingers at the Speaker of the most populous and productive state in Nigeria. In his gross confusion and lack of agenda for the meeting, he described the Number 3 citizen of Lagos state as a thief before his rented audience. While Enilolobo was busy showcasing his imprudence in Alimosho, Obasa was busy in Kano selling the candidature

of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to current and past Speakers. Enilolobo should know his followers are not all dumb and should learn to hide his foolery from the public. He could, at least, pretend to be intelligent by keeping mute at public gatherings. Even without being told, Enilolobo should know his assemblage would be wondering who the actual thief is, between himself and Obasa. The jamboree Constituency meeting organized by Enilolobo has proven that the rapscallion cannot manage his desperation and frustration. It is allowed but why vent his chagrin on a man who does not even notice his existence? If Enilolobo wants to test his strength with the Speaker, he should also try contesting come 2023.
It was a laughable scene watching Enilolobo garble, as the audience was lost on the actual message of the meeting. They remained passive, while many began to leave the venue even while he was still spewing insults on the Speaker

. One thing is clear - it is either Enilolobo does not have good advisers or he does not yield to sane counsel. By now, Enilolobo should have known that he had effortlessly ridiculed himself and his team.
Ironically, Enilolobo, in his usual penchant for false performance and claims, alluded to non-existent development in Alimosho. Perhaps, he assumed his audience was blind or too dumb to recognize development and the persons responsible for them. To sustain the attention of his uninterested listeners, Enilolobo unwittingly promised his bewildered assemblage enough money to share, only among those present. After wasting their precious time, energy and resources, Enilolobo finally announced a sum of three hundred thousand naira (N300,000) to each LCDA, strictly for members that came for the meeting. This is the height of insensitivity and lack of conscience, as Enilolobo, despite using the medium to redeem his collapsed image and empire, must have extorted millions of naira from his allies, in the name of organizing a Constituency meeting.
It is needless comparing the successful endorsement of Asiwaju for President by Alimosho Liberation Movement with the crap, organized by Enilolobo and his cronies. While the former witnessed a large attendance by party faithful, the latter was simply a show of shame, as it was largely attended by rented groups. The pseudo name, Enilolobo, cannot attract a meaningful audience from the constituency and this, as usual, must have cost his allies in elective offices across Alimosho and beyond, millions of Naira to organize such meeting. This further confirms that Alimosho residents, across board, have indeed attained a consensus and are collectively saying, 'Enough to the absurdity and illegality of Enilolobo and his G-18 looters'.
Alimosho Liberation Movement, therefore, charges Enilolobo and his G-18 fellow criminals to counsel themselves and their boss on the need to relax and stop the desperation for power and stealing of Alimosho commonwealth by proxy, so that our Constituency can be returned to the path of peace, cohesion and economic prosperity - common traits that have eluded Alimosho in almost twelve years due to the illegal occupancy of our political landscape by Enilolobo and his gang of G-18 desperadoes.
Despite Enilolobo's

claim and assurance, through his Media Aide, Comrade Alani Babatunde, of hosting a peaceful and violent-free Constituency meeting, it is heartbreaking and disappointing how Enilolobo's recklessness and failure to yield to advice, led to the loss of lives at the meeting. However, we sympathise with the families of the bereaved at the recent jamboree Constituency meeting held on March 27, 2021 at Akinogun. Truly, a word is enough for the wise, as the incident was largely avoidable.
