Adebisi Adebajo: The Peak of Failure and Icon of Incompetence

Woeful Failure As LSHA Members Visit Council On Supervision and Assessment Exercise

Results Rolling Out as members of the LSHA, during a recent visit rated Hon. Adebisi Adebajo aka Abisco woeful. Abisco, as popularly called is the Chairman, Mosan-Okunola LCDA since 2017 and is nursing a second term aspiration in the same office.

Among the flaws cited by the Committee was stagnancy and deterioration of infrastructure across the LCDA. It is shocking how throughout her 3½ years in office, Adebisi has not been able to point at a singular project under her administration. However, she has recorded an amazing increase in cosmetics, personal accessories, clothes, shoes, and other beautification items.

During the assessment, it was discovered that Adebisi raised a voucher dated February 31. This has become a subject of research as many have been sent back to confirm the number of days in both an ordinary and a leap year February. As if that was enough, according to her record, Adebisi also claimed to have executed another project on a Sunday.

One needs to ask where the Joint Account Allocation Committee funds and IGR are being diverted to.  By pre-existing infrastructure and resources, Mosan-Okunola LCDA should be the richest in Alimosho as it is surrounded by several Federal and State-owned Housing Estates, which makes it less attractive to new infrastructure. Many roads in this area are either maintained by the Federal or State Government, leaving less work for the grassroots government to do. Pathetically, the Chairman has woefully failed to seize this opportunity to outshine other Council Bosses. However, to augment for her failure, her office can be rated as second to none in beauty and class while the Administrations's block and Legislative offices are in absolute shambles.

Workers’ welfare and social services to the residents are abysmally and ridiculously low as they show nothing to write about. Instead of governance, she has recorded an amazing increase in cosmetics, personal accessories, clothes, shoes, and other beautification items. Little wonder, Adebisi is nicknamed Abisco Soyoyo across Alimosho Federal Constituency. Her inefficiency has also earned her another title, Madam Cosmetic Adjustment as she is always in the habit of padding fake projects making them look real.

It would be an understatement to say Adebisi’s emergence as the Council Mayor is at the detriment of Mosan-Okunola and its residents as it succeeded in barring competent candidates from steering the ship of the community. It is however evident that Adebisi was imposed and installed on the people of Mosan-Okunola by no other than the selfish and self-centered Uncle Oluwole

and Hadji YY Kure, to divert funds and siphon major contracts for themselves and their cronies.

In contrast to productive and intelligent women like Her Excellency, Princess Adejoke Orelope who have performed exceedingly well in Alimosho Federal Constituency, Madam Abisco Soyoyo has not only disappointed the womenfolk but would have successfully prevented other women from being considered for political offices in Alimosho in the future.

It should be expected that before the end of her tenure, Abisco will be naming and renaming projects, roads, and structures in honor of her godfather Alhaji Yisa Yusuf,

popularly called YY, to whom she owes her gratitude for becoming a Council Chairman.

Due to her gross mismanagement and incompetence, within a week, both the Council-Manager and Council Treasurer unofficially resigned from the Council to prevent Adebisi from denting their contributory years of active service as civil servants.

All Adebisi's attempts to prevent TVC from broadcasting the story of her failure, proved abortive as the visiting lawmakers insisted it is aired. Adebisi was reported to have made attempts to offer bribes to the pressmen present at the supervision exercise to help her kill the story but for the integrity of the media house and the transparency of the Assembly members, the report of the operation was aired on TVC on Saturday 10 pm News.

To prevent further calamity in Alimosho and shame to her family, we hereby advise Hon. Adebisi Adebajo, as a matter of urgency, shelves her ambition of running a second term as Council Chairman as her performance has proven that while Adebisi is a terrible leader, she might do well as a follower.
