Enilolobo: The Black Sheep of Alimosho Political Space
Enilolobo: The Black Sheep of Alimosho Political Space
Abdulahi Enilolobo, a loquacious, as well as inexperienced propagandist impostor, has done well in the media recently, than in reality. Instead of addressing burning issues raised against him, he has chosen to engage in frivolities and irrelevancies. Diversionary tactics is not only a trademark of traitors but also of liars.
Who is Enilolobo?
This is a question that should reverberate in the minds of his followers. No doubts, Enilolobo, with his pack of naive followers have not only overrated him but have ostensibly deified him. Is Enilolobo the Party Chairman? Is he a member of the GAC? Is he the State Governor or the Speaker of the House of Assembly? Or, perhaps, he is a member of the State House of Assembly. Is it not funny how an ordinary errand boy, the Caretaker Organizing Secretary of the State party apparatus, who is less in value and hierarchy to the Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, the State Youth Leader, and Women's Leader masquerades himself around like he owns the party and its entire members? By political hierarchy, is Enilolobo senior to the likes of Her Excellency, Princess Adejoke Orelope? For clarity, aside being a former Deputy Governor, Princess Adejoke is the current Senior Special Adviser to the President of Nigeria on Millennium Development Goals, a feat that has never been attained by any politician in Alimosho.

Another critical concern is, what elevated and qualified Enilolobo for the post of an Apex Leader, if at all, there is any post like such, for an entire Local Government? If those who, politically are his senior, mentors and contemporaries in Alimosho politically decide to stoop low and crawl on the floor to eat from the crumbs falling off Enilolobo's dining table, must every other person be as foolish, clueless and of low esteem as they have proven to be?
We are focused and never get distracted from our mission, most especially when an impostor like Enilolobo rants and exaggerates his position and values. Great products do not require adverts. Enilolobo should stop imposing himself on the people. He also needs to stop hyping himself. People know a good product when they see one. Enilolobo is pained and desperate, and we can understand his predicament. We are also aware that it is not easy for him to admit being disgraced from the point of becoming the Mandate Chairman, and of recent, his crumbling lies and deceit in Alimosho. It is amusing how Enilolobo boasts of some non-existent political prowess - a man that has never contested for any elective post in his entire life and has never occupied any political or public office, claiming an exalted position that should be assumed by an individual of political substance and high standing.
Our honest advice is that Enilolobo should shut his mouth, keep his pains and baseless Apex leadership claim to himself and his followers. The damages done to his reputation, occasioned by his unguarded media rants should be graceful enough to him. His less interesting reputation should be a serious cause for concern to himself and the man, whose name he has been using to swindle the good people of Alimosho. Enilolobo is a lousy brand, a nobody, whose political life is crumbling before his very eyes. He has been eking his entire livelihood on politics and has been gaining political attention when an equally low opportunist, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola decided to use his closeness to Asiwaju Tinubu, the Jagaban Borgu. Aregbesola polished Enilolobo and placed him over the people of Alimosho, until recently when his lies, stealing by proxy exploded to his face. Enilolobo has no morals, no decent background, judging from his cracking voice that still exposes his Indian hemp smoking and thuggery lifestyle.
Enilolobo who had always claimed to be Press-shy, has suddenly become a parrot, spitting trash to every available Pressman out of frustration. Funnily enough, Enilolobo, in one of his confused media rantings boasted that, if those questioning the validity of his apex leadership, could win two Wards in Alimosho, he would quit politics. While this proclamation was loudly applauded by his weak-minded followers, sane minds have continued to ask if Enilolobo was planning to exit the party or force those whom he perceive to be his adversaries to another political party. However, if he was referring to a contest in the primary elections, we have no regret to announce to him that, he would not only quit politics but slide into political oblivion as the bubble that will detonate on his face will be too catastrophic for him to handle.
Enilolobo's mental stability should be examined as he is evidently sick and needs urgent psychiatric attention. His poor memory has resulted in unwarranted insults directed at Omo Oba, Abiodun Ejigbadero and this is his greatest undoing. How could he claim that a man who has been in politics with the likes of Chief Ben Cash Famuyiwa, as his political godfather and also contested for the post of a Councillor in 1998 just joined politics in 2015? Perhaps, Enilolobo needs to be told that Ejigbadero
had been in politics even before the late Abiola struggle in 1993 - a period when Enilolobo was still practising his roadside vulcanizing business and never knew he would ever participate in politics.

Being short of words to adopt and points during his long and directionless interview, he engaged in throwing insults at Ejigbadero's family and lineage. It is a pity and also true that, "ẹni tí ò mọ iyì ẹni, kò lè mọ iyì ẹni", meaning only a person who is blessed with good parentage, knows its values". While we would not trade family slander with someone who does not know the values of one, we would only ask Enilolobo to tell Alimosho who is father is or was. Other than acute amnesia and the height of ingratitude, how else should we describe Enilolobo, a man who castigated Ejigbadero that helped them during elections. As the Head of Security Committee in Alimosho, Ejigbadero lost two of his brothers during the 2015 campaign while they were protecting Enilolobo and his anointed candidates. At the heat of the campaign, Enilolobo could not withstand the tension and he fled Alimosho for weeks, leaving Ejigbadero to douse the apprehension.
Both before and during his 18 years of being in limelight, what has Enilolobo offered the party, his followers or Alimosho Local Government, in general? Enilolobo should by now, see that his cheap effusive balloon of lies and propaganda, which has been hanging over Alimosho Federal Constituency has been deflated - we are now in a new era. Enilolobo, with his permanently deflated ego, should find something productive to engage himself aside politics.
The over seventy luxurious houses he has acquired including the one he recently bought at Unity Estate, Idimu, and his numerous choice cars should be enough parting gift for him. He, no doubt, needs to employ a good consultant to help him manage his expensive lifestyle, so that he will not rush back to penury. As for stealing funds meant for the development of Alimosho Federal Constituency, that has become a thing of the past. The people of Alimosho are saying enough is enough.
Enilolobo, unfortunately, has a blurred vision of what leadership stands for. To him, leadership stands for egoism, stealing by proxy - the major causes of his political downfall. At last, Alhaji Abiodun Ejigbadero has delivered Alimosho political elites from the claws of the parasites called G-18 - an ever blood-thirsty assemblage of die-hard political criminals. Enilolobo needs be educated that the truth should not come in wrapped anger and frustrations, and no matter how it is decorated, the truth will always remain it is. Over the years, Enilolobo and his gang of 18 Goats have inadvertently invited, not just the anger of the people they have, over the years suppressed, with the connivance of the Local Government executives, which they subverted and shortchanged the people, but also the wrath of the Almighty Creator.
Ejigbadero has revealed a class of tenacious liberators, a kind that Enilolobo can only wish for, in his next world. Enilolobo has gone to dig up all manners of fake information to smear the impeccable records of Abiodun Ejigbadero. In case he missed it, Ejigbadero is a Colossus on the landscape of Alimosho and his family - his contributions to community development and human capacity building are legendary. Eji, as popularly called can never be demeaned by the rants of a classless man who has no other means of livelihood outside politics. Ejigbadero is an institution and a philanthropist who has touched several lives within and outside Alimosho.
And as a reminder, the coming Congress in June is a set date for the fulfillment of Enilolobo's promise to either quit politics or drop his political suicidal note, as we are not only going to win two Wards, as he challenged but have overwhelming victory against darkness and the political robbers who have looted Alimosho dry. Sooner than expected, a set of ritualists will be retired, a day an impostor will cease to exist in our political clime, a day we shall see the end of the illegal and unconstitutional Apex Leadership in Alimosho.
The true wealth of a man is not measured by what he has acquired but by what he does with that which he acquired.
