Hon. Kehinde Joseph Kehinde Rebranding A Sour Wine

Is it not a dignifying option for Hon. Kehinde Joseph to have remained mute concerning the article about Enilolobo's beginning? We are constrained to direct this response towards his hypocritical reply to an earlier article titled 'Enilolobo; Captain Of A Sinking Ship'. His legendary breathtaking speed to our reply shows how desperate Joseph is, to secure his second term ticket in the state Assembly and the binding obligation to fulfill his blood oath with his master, Alhaji Abdullahi Enilolobo.

Joseph's perceived righteous attempt of separating Enilolobo from his low beginning can only be described as arrogance and unthankfulness to God Who should be appreciated for raising Enilolobo's standard from nothingness to significance.

Also, in the empty defense, he attempted to elevate Enilolobo, a failed politician by illustrating him as a super and clever game master. In his bid to impress and demonstrate support for an out-of-date illegal Apex leader, Joseph only tried to, openly display his obsession with failure and their inseparability. The response ascertained how cheap Kehinde Joseph is.

Sometimes, we have to throw a punch in the air in frustration about where and how we produce people like Kehinde Joseph in Alimosho, calling the shot at the helms of our political affairs. We are dealing with people without scruples of a shred of what decent people should be. The only time they come out to talk is only when their interest and ego are threatened. People who are faithful to black power and voodoo are usually too engrossed to consider anything related to the fear of God.

Is this not Kehinde Joseph that was leading the pack of other Ward Chairmen in preaching party decency, when he was a Ward Chairman? Was it not the same Kehinde Joseph, before getting into government, that would always preach equity, fairness, justice, humanity, and good governance to Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola? It is unfortunate that today, having tasted power, Kehinde Joseph is singing a new song.

Kehinde Joseph got nominated to represent Alimosho 02 in 2019, and he praised Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa to high heavens for his support, both financially and morally. And immediately he got to the house, he was assigned a juicy committee of  Agriculture, a position that is always reserved for old loyal members. It is both worrisome and disheartening how Hon. Kehinde Joseph recently looked away when a libelous article which was widely circulated by Enilolobo's media aide, accusing Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa of murdering late Senator Sikiru Bayo Osinowo aka Pepper. Kehinde Joseph was silent and pretended not to have seen the article but on seeing the rebuttal, he was quick to refute it with a strong defense, advising that the points raised in the article be disregard and not taken seriously. Well, like the popular Yoruba adage - "èèyàn méjì kìí pàdánù iró. Tí ẹni tí wọn pá fún ò bá mọ̀, ẹni tó pá mọ̀", meaning, two people can never be betrayed by a lie. If the one being lied to does not know, the person who told it knows the truth. If Enilolobo and his followers pretend to have forgotten his public beginning, we will like to notify them that we all cannot suffer from collective amnesia. We know the truth and cannot be intimidated from saying it.

We are sometimes amazed when people of easy values try to claim the moral ground and present themselves as custodians of the baton of our glorious past. However, we are no under any illusion about the motivation of those who want our great Alimosho to remain under siege. Enilolobo can continue to be a leader to Kehinde Joseph and others who believe in his master-servant legacies though, we have moved on in Alimosho, as our emancipation is not negotiable. Alimosho has been liberated.
