Enilolobo Becomes Alimosho Emperor As Aregbesola Settles For Osun
Alimosho Local Government, being a region that produces among the highest number of votes, has been the apple's eye of every politician around Lagos, particularly those whose victory depend on votes from Alimosho Federal Constituency.
For years now, the electorate in Alimosho have been hoodwinked into accepting that all political decisions and selection of political office holders are managed by Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, a former Governor of Osun state and the current Minister of Interior. For a very long time, this has been the game between Aregbesola and his most trusted ally, Alhaji Abdullahi Enilolobo, to whom, he has given the title and power of a leader over all other leaders in Alimosho.
It is needless reiterating the level of damage and atrocities that have been unleashed by this leader, Enilolobo in his bid to take over the entire structure of Alimosho politics. To simplify his task and make his decisions binding on every politician in Alimosho under the APC, he has continuously sent those who would not succumb to his authority out from the party and subdue those who have agreed to stay.
Under the leadership of Enilolobo, most senior politicians have been demoted and others have remained static. His bosses, prior to his ascension to the position of an Apex Leader, have speedily become his subordinates who now take instructions from him. As for those who could not tolerate such humiliation, they have, either been relegated into the bin of oblivion and others made to bow out of the party.
Having seen the series of crisis in Alimosho and the great decline in its electoral value, and perhaps, for fear of being demoted or relegated on return, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has decided to settle his scores with his new Governor, Mr. Gboyega Oyetola in Osun, and to continue his politics in his state. This development is sure to extend and strengthen the wings of the Idi-Amin of Alimosho in extending his powers over all other members of the party across the 6 Local Government and LCDAs. As Aregbesola Settles for Osun, Enilolobo graduates to become the emperor he has always wished to be.
Meanwhile, residents of Alimosho are tired of being led by council managers who do not have control over their Local Governments, hence their clamour for an end to bad governance and imposition of candidates against the wish of the electorate.
